    Assalaamu Alaikum,

Can I ask, where is the proof of reciting these surahs and the number of times to recite them? It’s ok to recite some of the du’as you have mentioned, as they are from the Quran but unless you have proof to recite these surahs at a certain time and the Messenger Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said to do this from authentic sources, then you shouldn’t be telling people to do this.

For your concern, and your comment. Sister the duas are advised by prominent ulema who have studied Quraan, etc. They know the significance behind the number of times certain duas should be read. They would not be advising people to recite the duas unless it was actually helpful. Whatever I post comes from trusted Ulema. At the end of the day it comes down to trusting the Ulema, and I do.

If you want to query it further, please feel free to contact any of these prominent South African ulema:

I started this dua “Rabbi inni leema anzalta illayya min khayryn faqir” and some others after stumbling on this blog in March.
My major issue was I didn’t have muslim brothers prospect. Brothers and sisters that dua is a very powerful dua. I now have a kind, muslim prospect. He is kind and generous, he makes me pray on time and helps me wake up early for fajr (we live in a city with very few mosques) and he is a good muslim, even better than I am.
My advice is to have patience, and believe the dua will work and believe in Allah’s timing is the best and Allah knows what’s best for you.

I’ve recited this every single sallah since like 2 years I think. I have done few omra and a haj the last time and I prayed to Allah that I du’a to marry an arabic. Is this a flaw I have made? Since I’m not arabic, I’m from Asia and I prayed for an arabic? I’m on holiday now in Turkey and I wished to marry a Turkish for a reason. I feel like a Turkish girl is suitable for me. In the end, I’m confused 😦 I also pray whoever my future-wife will be, when I feel/think that she’s the right one, I will have no doubt to marry her. In sch Allah.
